Each elementary and intermediate student that reached their "heart healthy" goal was awarded a free ticket to Hawaiian Falls for the Hawaiian Falls Spring Olympics on June 5. This was an exclusive MISD day at the waterpark. Students competed in events that day for bronze, silver and gold medals. We had mat races, body slide races, swim races, tube slide races and hula hoop contests. This event was a fundraiser for the MISD Education Foundation.
