On Saturday, January 9, 2010 Timberview hosted its annual UIL Invitational Academic Tournament, the Timberview Winter Classic. This year THS hosted over 20 schools from across the state. Students competed in events such as, Math, Science, Ready Writing, Current Events, Computer Science, and Social Studies.

The Timberview Academic team was assisted by members of NHS and JNHS earning community service points.
